A seventies flat with a view over the North Sea called for a thorough refurbishment. The interior is tackled with natural materials which reflect the light and bring a notion of the sea into the apartment. A particular clay technique is applied for the floor. Structural elements are restored to redisplay the existing concrete beams. The dining and living area’s are oriented towards the view. The open kitchen is equipped with generous storage space and aligns with a large dining corner. A reading space besides the large window merges in the armoire of the living room. Oak veneer in combination with white marble composes a warm but airy feeling.
